Focus & Concentration
changing lives for children & adults
Many aspects of brain function are involved in concentration and focus. When you are emotional or anxious, attention becomes harder to control, making it difficult to pay attention to the task at hand. Some will shift into dreaminess when trying to focus and concentrate. A short attention span may also contribute to difficulty with concentration. Too much hyper vigilance, or a degree of single-pointed concentration can interfere with staying on task, while a wide focus can lead to distractions and wandering attention.
Neurofeedback helps your brain learn to focus and concentrate at will, allowing optimal flow and function. Neurofeedback brain training is used by adults & students, businessmen, surgeons, Olympic athletes and ADD/ADHD sufferers to regulate their brain’s ability to transition between states, which allows better sleep, increased focus and concentration and an improved ability to stay on task efficiently.
Common Issues that interfere with focus and concentration are:
- Insomnia & sleep disturbances
- Learning disability: dyspraxis; dyslexia; dysgraphia; dyscalculia
- Memory/cognitive issues
